Join the farm
Whitmuir isn't just a farm - it's a community of people who share our values. About 170 households have become farm supporters who set upstanding orders with the farm. They choose how much of their food budget they can spend here and buy what they need from the shop. We also offer a personalised shopping service where we make up their order and deliver it. Every three months we balance the accounts. It is that simple.
Farm supporters are invited to a series of educational talks each winter (last year's included chocolate-making and Palestinian fair trade olive oil - this year's series includes 'will GM help to feed the world?' and 'buying and cooking sustainable fish' . There is also a seasonal supporters' banquet at the restaurant, and occasional 'working parties' for supporters who want to help out on the farm for the day.
